1 commented: I am a crossdresser i like 2 wear dresses i tried on dresses 2 look like a girl.
1 commented: a acklnowledged I am attracted by other men when I became 60. I love my wife & have never had any kind of sex with another guy except jacking off with my best friend in high school. I know I could fall in love w/ a man.
1 commented: A non-heterosexist oriented Church. Where gays don't "act straight" and straights aren't the model. Where we hold up singles as just as glorious as we do breeding.
1 commented: Excellent survey. I would only "married to same-sex partner" to self-identity options on relationships. Gays and lesbians can now get married in Massachusetts, Canada, Spain, etc.
1 commented: Good Luck!

1 commented: I am 66 and retired. I was in a 25 yr.Com.Relat. Partner Diedin 07. Emotions are hindering sex, now, at times. I am a committed Episcopalian; it is progressive and accepting of gays/Lesb. It is The Episcopal Church of Reconcilitaion.
1 commented: I am a student, so some of the personal info may seem warped. Also, I consider myself as not having a religion, or secular.
1 commented: I am actually 16. And, I believe it is wrong to be gay, however it is equal to any other sin (except for blaspheming the Holy Spirit). I am trying to get over it, but it seems natural to be gay [bi]./trans. Maybe God is making an exception?
1 commented: I am in a 30 year committed, romantic but non-sexual relationship with a straight female friend, and feel blessed beyond measure.
1 commented: I am no longer interested in religious and so-called spiritual issues.
1 commented: I don't know of an accepting tradition/progressive church here, but I was very active at Trinity Unted Methodit Church in Austin where everyone was welcome
1 commented: i like to do queers up the butt hard!!!
1 commented: I love and adore myself although I do have a few issues to address...but generally speaking I am extremely content and satisfied with myself!!!!
1 commented: I love River City Living Church and pastor Charles Sherman!!
1 commented: I recently tried Madison Square Presbyterian, liked it a lot and will probably go back
1 commented: I think "transgender" should reflect gender identity without m/f binary, while "transsexual" should refer gender identiry, specifically m/f
1 commented: I want to continue to work toward full inclusion of all in our religious groups, churchs, community, etc.
1 commented: I would be very interested in the any analyses of these results. I'm a sociologist who studies same-sex marriage and queer families.
1 commented: I would like it very much if there was an LGBT community center in San Antonio. I would be willing to help make it a reality.
1 commented: I would like to see the SA GLBTI community be more cohesive.
1 commented: I'm a practical guy. I love God. Am Christian by faith. Not to kosher with organized religion though, but who knows... maybe things are different here. To me, you either get the charismatic, the stoic and dead, or the sappy sweet in religion.
1 commented: I'm straight wishing to learn more & be supportive
1 commented: in Buddhism and in Native American medicine practices I have found a place I can grow; now I would just like to find companionship of a like minded person to share that with but as long as I have the Buddhist congregation (the Sangha) I will be ok
1 commented: It is time for gays to go to church, any church and say we are here to worship. We see a day when pastors can divorce with no controversy, this is a new era, it is time for the church to accept gays.
1 commented: It seems that this is more of a "religion" survey as opposed to a "life" survey. I don't go to MCC anymore because they verbally bash the "straight" community and then get upset when the "straight" community bashes them. The Jesus I know loves all.
1 commented: My partner and I would love to find people our age to connect with but where to go aside from the clubs?
1 commented: No religion has it right or will, because man is flawed and man interprets the word. Spirituality is the way I interpret and try to lead my life. Concentration should be on a moral and "good" way of living and not on what everyone does wrong.
1 commented: not at this time
1 commented: people need to understand we glbt want EQUAL rights, not anything less or more! i have been with bexar county for over 20 years and my employer does not recognize same sex couples.

1 commented: Thank you for your interest in the needs of our community.
1 commented: Thanks for including the non-religious.
1 commented: The SA Community is fragmented with poor communication
1 commented: This is not a very good form for transgender people. I am a 72 year old transgenderd woman married for fifty years to a genetic female in a legal marriage. Married when I was living as a male. For many years we ran the "Texas T Party" for transgend
1 commented: We live in a very rural area with few gays.
1 commented: We live in a very rural area without any gay community. The nearest is 150 miles from here.
1 commented: What great idea this survey is! Looking forward to conclusions from it.
1 commented: Where I could make more progress and better development.
1 commented: While I began to question, and ultimately left religious & spiritual world views because I embraced being gay, I am not wounded by having to make that choice. Also, I am lucky enough to have a husband who has a similar world view.
1 commented: wish there were local support groups specifically for "late bloomers" and married/previously married people now involved in same sex relationships, also more couples focused activities
1 commented: Would love to attend gay church. However, have experience perverse/inappropriate behavior at local gay churches. Very upsetting.
